A welcoming space

All year round

After many years of service, our heating system failed last year. Despite our best efforts to install a replacement before last winter, we had to manage without heating. The good news is that we hope to begin installing a new system soon.

St Peter’s church is more than a Sunday building. It is where we gather for baptisms, weddings and funerals; where we celebrate Christmas and Easter; and where concerts, fairs and community events bring the people of Ruddington together throughout the year.

The new heating system will ensure that the church remains a welcoming and comfortable space for everyone who visits.

The cost of the new heating system is about £85,000. A large proportion is already covered by the church’s own resources, much of which has been generously given by members of our congregation. Even so, we still need to raise around £25,000 to complete the work.

If St Peter’s has been part of your life, whether regularly or occasionally, we invite you to play a part in this shared effort. Thank you for your generosity, support, and prayers.
